While Soul Train founder, and host Don Cornelius’ passing may not have received the proper respect from some newspapers, he’s been honored via this great cartoon by Andy Marlette.

TMZ reports ‘Soul Train’s’ Don Cornelius  was found dead in his Sherman Oaks, Cali., home early this morning. Cornelius’ body was found at approximately 4 AM PT with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.


Cornelius was 75 years-old at the time of his death.
