The Based God dropped his new mixtape over the holiday break and it doesn’t disappoint. Lil B’s “Gold House” mixtape is filled with all the witty Based Godisms you’d expect. You’ll want to bob your head, maybe do a little two step and laugh a lot. Lil B has pop culture down pat.

Even after offering his album to fans online for free, Lil B has managed to sell a reported 1,700 copies of “I’m Gay” – the controversial album release that had everyone talking.  Based God received a countless amount of responses for the questionable title, (including death threats and such), but it looks like the kid is doing something right.

Stay happy, Based God…stay happy.

Pictures of rapper Lil B’s cover art for his upcoming album titled, “I’m Gay” has provoked many different reactions from hip-hop enthusiasts; including but not limited to, rage, hate, humor, confusion, anger…to put it simply, drama.  Undeterred by his controversial threats towards Kanye West (raping, and such), rumors circulated that Lil B may be the first outwardly gay rapper; which apparently triggered this satire (if you will) on Marvin Gaye’s album cover for “I Want You”, constructed from the 1970s painting Sugar Shack.

In a recent interview with MTV News, Based God remarks:

“I really seen that the hip-hop community is being very close-minded and very hateful, very violent…people use evil words, money, separation, stuff like that. I just wanted to make this to show words don’t mean anything.”

Is this Gaye enough for you guys?  Eh…be happy.

This album is dedicated to Mr. Cee. I love you man!

PAUUUUUUUUUSE! What in the world…smh! I don’t even know what to think of this news. Am I surprised? Hmmmm…not really to be honest. With all the remarks he’s done on twitter & letting males fans kiss his hand at shows…not a shocker. The news was found via Pitch Fork Media on Twitter. Is this true or Lil’ B said that just for US to blog about it? To be continued…
