What a way to start the New Year! Basketball phenom Lebron James proposed to his high school sweetheart, Savannah Brinson on New Year’s Eve.  James’ proposal took place at a combination New Years Eve and birthday party — he was born on December 30, 1984. Lebron dropped to one knee and asked for Brinson’s hand in marriage in front of teammates Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh. Wade’s girlfriend, Gabrielle Union was in attendance as were other teammates, family and close friends. The couple have two sons; Lebron Jr. and Bryce Maximus. A wedding date has not been set.

We adore Savannah’s stunner of an engagement ring. Congratulations to the happy couple.

Stay tuned for more.
