This week, acclaimed actress Alfre Woodard stopped by the studio to discuss her new Apple TV+ series, “See.”

In addition to discussing her role opposite Jason Momoa, Woodard also discussed her critically acclaimed role in Clemency with Aldis Hodge.

Chinonye Chukwu made history when she won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival this year for her film ‘Clemency.’

The film stars Alfre Woodard as a warden who struggles to deal with the decisions she makes for death row inmates.

As the first black woman to bring home the biggest prize in drama, Chukwu opened up about her award and what’s next for her as a director.

Gabrielle Dennis may be a new addition to Luke Cage, but she’s not necessarily a new face. The actress– who previously starred alongside Morris Chestnut on Rosewood as Pippy– plays Tilda Johnson the estranged daughter of Alfre Woodard’s character Mariah Dillard on Season 2 of Luke Cage.

Later this year, we’ll also see Dennis as Whitney Houston in BET’s The Bobby Brown Story.
