Alano Miller stopped by the studio to discuss his new drama series Cherish the Day.

The series, created by Ava DuVernay, centers on Miller as Evan Fisher and Xosha [zo-sha] Roquemore as Gently James, a couple who meet and fall in love in Los Angeles over the course of five years.

Miller opened up about the show’s important narrative, working with DuVernay, and why shows on black love are needed.
