CBS has sanctioned Gayle King to interview the Obama’s for the annual Superbowl Sunday pre game show interview.

If the President had a Superbowl party planned for that day – we guess he can forget about it…

Actually, the interview is an annual tradition – that is done as part of the pre-game show, but clearly – Super Bowl Sunday

CBS announced that King will be at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. on Super Bowl Sunday to conduct the traditional interview of the president for CBS Sports’ pre-game show “The Super Bowl Today.”

The show will be broadcasted Sunday, Feb. 7 on CBS, and First Lady Michelle Obama will join her husband for the Q&A, live from the White House.

Chris Licht, Vice President of Programming, CBS News, and Executive Producer of CBS This Morning reveals why King was picked and what she’s talk about with POTUS and FLOTUS:

“Gayle knows how to drive conversations that are compelling and multi-dimensional so we get an even better understanding of the President, the First Couple and their plans for the future. The interview will fit seamlessly into the midst of a Super Bowl Sunday.”
King’s interview will be featured as part of CBS Sports’ THE SUPER BOWL TODAY pre-game show leading up to the broadcast of SUPER BOWL 50 live from Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
