Lauryn Hill Sentenced To Three Months In Federal Prison



According to reports, singer Lauryn Hill has been sentenced to three months in federal prison for tax evasion.

Surprisingly, Lauryn has already paid offed her taxes in full…

As reported by MSDTV, Lauryn Hill was given two weeks to come up with $500,000 toward her $1.8 million tax debt for failing to file taxes in 2005, 2006 and 2007 at her last court hearing.

Lauryn Hill ended up cutting a check to the IRS on Monday for $900,000 to settle the debt but apparently it wasn’t enough to keep her from going to jail.

Yesterday, Lauryn Hill was sentenced to three months in jail, a $60,000 fine, one year probation and possibly three months of home confinement.

Ms. Hill must report to prison on July 8th.
