As reported by MSDTV, Fantasia Barrino publicly boycotted Jet Magazine  after they put a 10 year old photo of her on their cover instead of the promotional photos sent.

Apparently Jet’s editor-in-chief didn’t take a liking to their bashing by Fantasia as the editor posted some shrewd  insults on her Facebook status about Fanny…

According to The Root:

Jet editor-in-chief Mitizi Miller was discussing the incident with friends on Facebook when she make the biting comment:

“The fact that I wasted an hour of my workday writing a press release to address an issue created by a person who cannot even read it is just… #whyiwannaBahousewife.”

Yikes.

After Mitizi’s remarks made the rounds online, a statement was issued to Madame Noir:

“I apologize for the lack of sensitivity shown in my FaceBook post. It was a thoughtless comment made during a moment of frustration. It was unprofessional and not representative of the JET mission, which is to uplift. I regret letting my emotions get the best of me. I am truly apologetic.”
