A Family Affair: 50 Cent Hires Floyd Mayweather’s Estranged Father To Train His Boxers

While the feud between 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather may have been a PR stunt, it appears that 50 hasn’t quite let go of his bitter feelings towards Floyd.
In what seems to be another (futile) attempt for attention, 50 has decided to take up Floyd’s father as his new trainer….
According to reports, 50 just hired Floyd Sr. dad to train his boxer Andre Dirrell – which is a low blow considering Floyd Mayweather and his father have a extremely estranged relationship.
Floyd Sr. tells The Examiner he has nothing to do with Floyd and 50’s beef:

“That’s 50 and Floyd and I’m Floyd Sr. I don’t know nothing about it.”

“Whatever happens I’m pretty sure we’re going to talk one day. He’s not pressed to talk to me. He got out of jail. I ain’t heard from him. I haven’t seen him. It’s on him. That’s my son, That’s the way he want to be fine! Because he could not have done none of this without me, it ain’t no nobody did it. His daddy did it. I been training my son since he was a baby. He won the National golden gloves when he was 16 years old.”

 Stay Tuned.
