Someone might want to give Stacey Dash a Civil Rights history lesson.

Last night the “Clueless” star appeared on CNN’s Piers Morgan Tonight and quoted Martin Luther King Jr while defending her decision to vote for Mitt Romney.

As you can imagine, it didn’t go over too well..

After getting roasted on twitter Sunday night for endorsing Mitt Romney, Stacey attempted to defend herself.

Stacey explains to Piers why Mitt was her choice,

“Not by the color of his skin, but by the content of his character.”

Stacey also said she wasn’t offended by the backlash telling Piers,

“I don’t feel offended. I just feel that, you know, as a country, this is my choice. This is the man I want to lead my country.”

Stacey says she made her decision after watching Mitt and Ann Romney on Meet the Press.

“They spoke to me, and they seemed authentic and genuine about what they said about this country, about the need for us to be united and move forward.”

Stay Tuned.
