A fight out of the ring is finally ending between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr.

A three year fight came to an end on Tuesday when the two boxers struck a deal in a defamation lawsuit.

Pacquiao sued Mayweather in 2009 for defamation. This was in response to Mayweather supposedly accusing Pacquiao of using performance-enhancing drugs.

On Tuesday, both parties had legal documents filed asserting that the boxers settled the matter out of court, and that Pacquiao agreed to end his lawsuit against Mayweather.

A joint statement released by Mayweather and his father stated that they:

“wish to make it clear that they never intended to claim that Manny Pacquiao has used or is using performance-enhancing drugs.”

While the details of the settlement weren’t released, we do know that each boxer picked up his own tab. Both parties agreed to cover their own legal fees.
