Rihanna Added To The Line Up For 2012 MTV VMA Performances

Pop Princess Rihanna has been added to the VMA line-up as a performer.

Although MTV network has not yet confirmed the singer, a member of Rihanna’s Navy tweeted the news following a confirmation tweet from Rihanna herself:

Rihanna and Drake lead the nominations race, each having five nomination.

The singer is up for Video of the Year, Best Female Video, and Best Pop Video for “We Found Love,” and was nominated for her feature on Drake’s “Take Care” single”.

Hollywood Life reports that the pop star may be collaborating with both Chris Brown and Drake.

The two will reportedly put their differences aside for the sake of Rihanna and her performance at the annual event.

Per an anonymous source, “It’s all business and Chris wants [Rihanna] to be successful and on top of her game – always. He got mad love for her, and if she and [Drake] win, of course [he’s going to] support Rihanna because she’s on the track.”

Adding, “He’s hoping she wins…He wants nothing but the best for that girl.”

The 2012 MTV VMA’s will take place on September 6th and will also feature musical performances by Green Day, Pink, Alicia Keys and One Direction.

Stay Tuned.
