Jay-Z Sued For 7 Million Dollars In Unpaid Royalties

The Jigga man is being sued for $7 million in unpaid royalties by the designer of the Roc-A-Fella logo.
Designer, Dwayne Walker filed suit in Manhattan Federal court on Friday against Roc-A-Fella founders Jay Z, Damon Dash and Kareem ‘Biggs’ Burke, claiming he was paid $3,500 for the logo design and promised 2% royalties from all products carrying the logo until 2015.

In his suit Dwayne states:

”The logo has become universally recognized as an iconic symbol of Jay-Z, one of the most successful recording artists in the history of popular music.”

Dwayne designed the Roc-A-Fella logo in 1995 which features the letter R over a vinyl disc and a champagne bottle.
