Jay-Z Plans To Call The President To Perform For His Upcoming Made In America Series

While the President of the United States is not likely to be on anyone’s personal speed dial, Jay-Z seems to have a personal in with the commander-in-chief — so much so that Jay plans to call Obama just to ask him to perform at his event.

After recently announcing the Made in America two-day concert series in Philly, where Jigga is currently the only confirmed headliner, Jay now plans on having his wife and the President of the United States make an appearance as well.

Jay Z tells Rolling Stone:

“I’m gonna give him (Obama) a call and I’m gonna try to get him to perform – do a little rendition of Al Green – but I doubt it. I think that opens up the political season. He’ll be so far into helping the world that he probably won’t have time, but I’m absolutely going to ask him.” and as far as Beyonce goes, “I tried to put it far enough away that she’d have a little gap in her schedule, so hopefully that works.” The Made in America concerts series kicks off in Philadelphia on Labor Day Weekend.

Tickets are $99 for a two-day pass and go on sale at LiveNation.com and Ticketmaster.com May 23.

Of course, MSDTV will keep you posted. Stay Tuned.
