REMIX: DJ Pauly D’s New Liquor Deal Is Going to Make Him Very Rich

DJ Pauly D has had a banner year and it keeps getting better. A few months ago the “Jersey Shore” cast member signed with 50 Cent’s G-Unit imprint. Now he’s set to launch a liquor empire.

Apparently, Paul DelVecchio is getting into a niche part of the liquor business with a line of vodka-based drinks called REMIX. The drink would be geared towards the “pre-game” crowd. If you go out heavily, and you’re between the ages of 21-35, pre-gaming has become a part of the nightlife experience — it’s all about getting the party started, and keeping the energy up.

Pauly D is in good company. His business partner, David Kanbar is the co-founder of Skinnygirl Cocktails; RHONY, and “Bethenny Ever After” star Bethenny Frankel was his partner. Skinnygirl sold for approximately $120 million.

REMIX was showcased at  the Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America convention last month. According to TMZ’s sources, “it sold more cases during the convention than Skinnygirl sold in 18 months.”

We have yet to hear if 50 Cent sampled the goods (he doesn’t drink).
