The past always has a way of creeping back into a person’s life. Unfortunately for the rapper G. Dep, a 20-year old incident will have him serving 15 years to life in a New York prison.
As reported by MSDTV, G. Dep, whose real name is Trevell Coleman, 37, went to a police station in December 2010 admitting to firing at someone in effort to rob him on a street corner when he was around 19 years old.
The case was reopened and authorities paired his account with the 1993 death of John Henkel.
At his trial, the defense questioned whether police made the right match. Now it seems that the jury is confirming the confession and Coleman will have to serve the minimum sentence for his April murder conviction: 15 years to life.
Of course, MSDTV will keep you posted. Stay Tuned.
