Actor Omar Epps has joined forces with Tracey Edmonds and the Williams brothers of YMCMB to produce the new romantic comedy, Between Us. Epps, known for his roles in “Love And Basketball” and “House” wrote the script under his production company BrooklynWorks Films and will star in the upcoming feature.
Epps recently told Deadline.com that the story is about two best friends “looking for love in the wrong places with a contemporary twist.” Epps also said that Bryan “Baby” Williams and Ronald “Slim” Williams of YMCMB were looking for a way to expand their brand and that they “loved the concept.”
Between Us is scheduled to begin filming in late summer or early fall.
