Ray J Fires Back At Bobby Brown’s Sister, Says He Was Not Whitney Houston’s Enabler

This morning MSDTV received a letter from Ray J’s legal representation – in regards to the explosive interview that Bobby Brown’s sister had with HLN yesterday – in which she blamed Ray J for being Whitney Houston’s enabler.

Leolah Brown went on record on the “Dr. Drew” show on HLN Thursday night alleging that Ray J was the source of Whitney’s ultimate demise and — was the one who gave the star the fatal dose of cocaine that ended her life.

After her interview, Ray J legal team went to the press to refute her allegations. According to the singer’s rep, Ray J had no knowledge that Whitney was using again. Additionally, Ray J was no where near the scene of the incident, he was in San Diego.

Here’s the notice MSDTV received:

CNN Headline News broadcast an interview with Leolah Brown last night that was rife with false statements about our client, Willie Ray Norwood, Jr., professionally known as Ray J. Even though Leolah Brown was nowhere near the Beverly Hilton Hotel on the day Whitney Houston died, CNN proceeded to broadcast an interview with Ms. Brown in which she falsely claimed that Ray J was at the hotel and contributed to Whitney Houston’s death. Even the most minimal inquiry with anyone actually in contact with Whitney would reveal that Leolah Brown had been out of contact with Whitney for more than a year and was no where near the scene on the day of her death. We urge you not to republish these defamatory stories and caution you that doing so without attempting to verify the truth of same will cause significant damages to our client which may result in legal action. Thank you for your cooperation with respect to this sensitive matter.

Of course we’ll keep you updated. Stay Tuned.
