Pop singer Rihanna has decided to respond to her fans and critics about her recent music collaboration with fellow vocalist, and ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. Yesterday, the Barbados native talked to KIIS-FM radio host, Ryan Seacrest to set the record strait.
In the interview, Rihanna explained that it was her idea for Brown to appear on her song because he’s “the hottest R&B artist” right now. Brown then asked her to return the favor and be on his song.
Rihanna defended her decision to work with Brown, despite him brutally beating her up three years ago – saying saying it “made sense” and it’s “innocent.”
The two remixes – her song “Birthday Cake” and his single “Turn up the Music” – have been climbing the charts and Rihanna suggest the partnership allowed fans to come together, adding:
“There shouldn’t be a divide. … It’s music, and it’s innocent.”
Is Rihanna right – or is she clearly not over Chris Breezy?
