Tune In Tonight: A Very BET Christmas f/ Mariah Carey, Robin Thicke, Kurtis Blow, John Legend & More!


The Christmas season may last an entire month, but a soulful holiday line up like tonight only comes once a year on BET.

With that in mind, this year’s BET’s annual holiday special, A VERY BET CHRISTMAS premiers at 8pm.

This one-hour primetime special will feature Christmas memories and musical performances by Robin Thicke, Kurtis Blow, Mindless Behavior, Monica, Lloyd, Kurtis Blow, Jacob Latimore and BET’s Music Matters artist, Elle Varner.   A VERY BET CHRISTMAS will also world premiere “When Christmas Comes,” Mariah Carey and John Legend’s latest holiday video.

BET is also treating viewers to additional holiday programs THE PERFECT GIFT, NOTARIZED 2011 and 106 & PARTY. In the BET exclusive premiere of THE PERFECT GIFT, featuring Ruben Studdard (American Idol Season 2 winner) and Golden Brooks (CW’s “Girlfriends”), holiday stress immediately turns into family anarchy when Sandra’s (Golden) parents stop by for an unannounced visit! Bringing in 2012 with a bang, BET’s annual favorite NOTARIZED 2011 premieres Saturday, December 31 starting at 11 a.m.* BET will countdown the Top 100 music videos of the year with appearances from today’s hottest talent—Common, Melanie Fiona, DJ Khaled, Pooch Hall, Hosea Chanchez and many more—joining together to help bring viewers 12-consecutive hours of the year’s hottest videos of 2011. Immediately following NOTARIZED 2011, tune in to the hottest New Year’s Eve bash on television at 11 p.m.*, 106 & PARTY, as your favorite BET hosts Terrance and Rosci along with an array of celebrities look back on some of the year’s most memorable 106 & Park moments.
