Since the release of Tay Dizm’s two successful singles “Dream Girl” featuring Akon (2009) – gaining over 16.7 million YouTube views – and “Beam me Up” featuring T-Pain & Rick Ross (2008) – with over 4.3 million views – fans have been anticipating his next move. With the viral spread of his new street anthem “Gettin to the Money” ft T-pain and J-Bo of YoungBloodz, the world can now take a step inside Tay Dizm’s journey as a solo artist. His hustle, drive and struggle are three key components to him paving his way.

Throughout his career he has worked with artist and producers such as T-Pain, Rick Ross, Akon, Shawnna, Gorilla Zoe, Mr. Beatz (YMCMB), All star, TyKeyz and many more. Dizm has graced stages all over the United States and overseas, giving memorable high-energy performances at sold out arenas and events. This incomparable artist is known for his animated stage presence and humble spirit, which has helped Dizm gain a strong global fan base.

In 2003, the Miami native begun touring and working with long time best friend, T-Pain. From that point forward, Dizm created a name for himself and embarked on his music career as a hype man and an artist on Nappy Boy Digital. Dizm appeared on two of T-Pain’s albums, Rappa Ternt Sanga (2005) and Epiphany (2007).

Quickly gaining recognition and received numerous awards including the 2008 songwriting award from ASCAP and Billboard Yea-End Hot 100 singles of 2008 for “She Got It” with 2 Pistols and “Who Da F*** is Dat” with Dolla. Since the release of his Feb 2011 mixtape Thank You for Being a Friend -receiving more than 50,000 downloads -the world now knows Tay Dizm is back and going harder than ever.

Dizm’s fans play a huge role in his motivation to continue down the path of paving his way. The title and cover of Thank You for Being a Friend mixtape incorporates an abstract collage of pictures fans sent in with end result creating Dizm’s face. This mixtape showcases his growth as an artist and as a person.

This September, Dizm will begin his multi-city promo and college tour including New York, Florida, Alabama, Indiana, Georgia and Tennessee.
