Since Pac’s death in 1996, his legacy has lived on through his music, which includes a vast array of unreleased material that continues to surface on the hip-hop scene. Although posthumous tracks such as “Changes” and “Til The End Of Time” have kept us inspired, two new leaked songs from the late-great rapper have been unveiled which reflect Pac’s other side…
On “Watch Yo Mouth” and “NY 87” (featuring Tha Dogg Pound, DJ Quik & Deadly Threat), Tupac takes shots at several rappers/personalities including, Biggie, Diddy, Wendy Williams, Mobb Deep, Nas, A Tribe Called Quest…pretty much, the tracks collectively assign targets to representatives of the entire city of New York.
Both songs spur up feelings that incited the East Coast/West Coast beef that was prevalent during the 90’s, which tragically led to the murders of two of hip-hop’s greatest rappers of all time.
