The most talked about incident that happened during the BET Awards last night wasn’t a performance, or even a segment from the show’s host, funny-man Kevin Hart – but a slip-up from contest winner Tiffany Green who allegedly ‘misread’ the teleprompter while presenting The Viewer’s Choice Award to Chris Brown…then Rihanna…and finally, Drake for his collaboration with Rih-Rih for “What’s My Name”. Yikes.
Here’s the video:
Green then used Twitter to put BET on blast for setting her up; which is in reference to her previous rants, and threats… towards Chris Brown earlier in the month, as well as right before the show. Karma? Or just a crazy coincidence?
BET’s executive producer, Stephen Hill later offered his apologies by tweeting,
“That BET Awards Viewer’s Choice mix-up was due to human error,” Hill states. “And I was the human that made that error. I apologize to ALL affected.”
Look for screen caps of Green’s tweets after the break.
