Back in May, Drake announced via Twitter that he was in the studio with fellow Toronto recording artist The Weeknd, comprised entirely of one guy – Abel Tesfaye. The mystifying buzz surrounding the Toronto musician goes hand-in-hand with his sound, sultry R&B mixed with seductive lyrics – ranging everywhere, and in between electro hip-hop combined with alternative indie pop music. It is rumored that in exchange for working with Drake on his highly anticipated forthcoming album, “Take Care”, Tesfaye has the pleasure of featuring Drizzy on his upcoming mixtape “Thursday”, which is the follow up to his debut on the music scene, “House of Balloons”. Thanks to Drake’s most recent exposure with the releases of “Dreams Money Can Buy” (not featuring background vocals by The Weeknd as believed, but by Jai Paul) and “Marvin’s Room”, I am sure we can expect much more from the artist, as Drizzy cosigns.
