Last week, Ms. Drama TV went behind the scenes of Black Cobain’s listening event for his debut mixtape, Young Gifted and Black. The Virginia-based rapper had an industry affair at the Samsung Center where press and some lucky fans got to hear the exclusive cuts first. Before the main event, Rocksmith Tokyo Clothing also hosted a listening party for the artist in NYC’s Lower East Side – where an intimate gathering of fans rocked out and enjoyed the stylish Rocksmith showroom. For those interested in getting more of an entertainment feel, the mixtape release party at the Samsung Center featured stage performances by Tiara Thomas, a fellow Board of Administration member, and Interscope’s recording artist Wale. Representing XXL’s Freshman class, unsigned rapper Fred the Godson also stopped by to show love to Black Cobain and the rest of the Board of Administration family.
