Reality just got all the more real for the newest season of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Before the show even starts, the RHOA’s newest cast member, Marlo Hampton apparently is no stranger to being in front of the camera – more specifically, those found in police precincts. Various mugshots of Hampton have been leaked onto the internet, bringing light to her extensive criminal history. Look for more pictures and info after the break.
Hampton seems to be quite familiar with drama. She has been arrested for the following charges:
5/26/99 – Initial Arrest for Aggravated Battery with Great Bodily Harm
9/28/99 – Sentenced for Aggravated Battery with Great Bodily Harm Charge
6/19/00 – Charge: Violation of Probation
02/14/01 – Charge: Violation of Probation
09/09/02 – Charge: Obtained Property for Worthless Check
12/03/2002 – Charge: Felony in Possession of a Firearm/Violation of Probation
07/28/2003 – Charge: Violation of Probation
Hampton also released this statement in response to the leaks:
“It has come to my attention that some of my past indiscretions have come to light. Let me first state that I am not ashamed of my past as that has helped me become a better woman today. We all have a past and my hard-knock childhood in and out of the Foster Care system is a reflection on a bigger issue we are faced with here in America, a broken Foster Care system. My present charge in life is to live with God in my heart and help young women especially from the foster care system avoid the challenges I faced. I’m more then just what is being said of me and I have a story to tell.” — Marlo Hampton
Besides being romantically involved with former cast member of the show, Nene’s ex boy-toy Charles Grant (Nene, we advise you to take the L on this one), looks like Hampton is primed for reality TV. However, the team at Ms. Drama TV feel she is on the wrong program. Casting for Bad Girls Club, anyone?
