It seems that New Orleans Saints’ star Reggie Bush may have had a mental breakdown recently due to Kim K’s engagement news.

Reggie’s camp says friends are keeping a close watch on him because they’re worried about his unusual behavior. Apparently, Reggie has been canceling gigs including an appearance at the European celebrity car race, Gumball Rally 3000.

Friends to the NFL player say:

We heard Kim got engaged, so we think that’s why [Reggie] didn’t turn up. He must be pretty cut up. He sounded like he was, and that was why he didn’t make it down. I hope Reggie gets it together for the rally. It’ll be just what he needs to get out on the road and party.”

As seen throughout the blogosphere last week, news broke of Kim Kardashian’s engagement to the NBA player Kris Humphries (seen above) and Kim’s new $2 million dollar, 20 carat diamond.

Reggie and Kim began dating in 2007 but went their separate ways after two years. As most might remember – Kim was expecting that rock when Reggie won the Superbowl that year – which didn’t happen.

All I got to say is: Reggie – Get over it and move on.
