Here we go – again. Yep, your favorite rachetness unpredictable group of girls are coming back for 10 more shows as VH1 announced that they have renewed the “Love & Hip Hop” show.
So be ready for more of the Drama – between Mama Jones, Chrissy, Somaya Reece and Olivia. As for the second season’s cast, expect most of the regulars including Jim Jones’ girlfriend Chrissy Lampkin, singer Olivia Longott, Emily Bustamante (with probably more mention about her now ex Fabolous) and rapper Somaya “Boss” Reece. As previously reported, Mashonda will not be on for another season.
Created by Mona Scott-Young (pictured above left), the show was a ratings success drawing nearly 1.3 million total viewers for the reunion special and 1 million viewers per episode for the regular season. Jeff Olde, Executive Vice President of Original Programming & Production at VH1 said commented on the show being renewed:
“Our viewers have connected passionately with these women and their unique, authentic stories in the realms of pop culture and music,” Olde continued. “We’re very happy to be able continue those story lines.”
Somebody lied to him, but we’ll still be watching. Stay Tuned.
