Self-proclaimed ‘Queen Bee’, Lil Kim signs a deal with Universal Records…
Which means – she is now label mates with the one and only, Nicki Minaj! O_o Although it’s not certain just why Kimmy decided to switch up the game in that direction, (especially because of an obvious affiliation with her supposed rival) but does this mean we will finally get a collaborative effort from the two rap mistresses?! Word is, Lil’ Kim is currently working on a forthcoming album to be released (now) with Universal, and will be her first album release on a major label since The Naked Truth on Atlantic Records back in ’05.
Specific details on Kim’s new deal are still not clear, but MSDTV will keep you updated!

As promised, Lil’ Kim strikes back after being previously denied (by Biggie’s mom) with an extended version of Monica’s Missy Elliott-produced single “Anything (To Find You).”
After Kim’s verse was cut from the final song and replaced with Rick Ross due to an issue with Biggie’s estate (i.e. Ms. Wallace say “H*ll NO”) – Kim promised fans she had “something Bigger for [them]“.
Indeed she did. Now you can hear Kim’s full 16 bars, where she name checks the President and First Lady, Prince William
and Ace Hood.
Are you feeling it?

R & B singer Monica has found herself in the middle of an ongoing family dispute. The singer recently collaborated with Rick Ross, Missy Elliott and Lil’ Kim for the single, “Anything,” that samples David Porter’s “I’m Afraid the Masquerade Is Over” that was used for the Notorious B.I.G’s classic “Who Shot Ya?”. In the song, the Queen Bee uses a few lines from the Biggie hit in her verse. Listen below:
According to Monica’s twitter account Biggie’s mother Voletta Wallace has stopped the single from being released because Lil’ Kim appears on the song. As custodian of Biggie’s estate Ms. Wallace approves any samples of her late son’s music. Monica explains:
“I am just finding out what has happened to my single and myself & Missy are beyond hurt that @LilKim was removed. She’s our friend, a legend,” Monica wrote. “Lil Kim will get the respect she deserves at all cost. The clearance was revoked and I’m fighting to get it reinstated by the Biggie Estate.”
For Lil Kim’s response to being removed off of the track, continue reading after the break:
