According to Hits Daily Double, unofficial numbers (161,576) shows that he outshined Adele & Blink 182 (who battled him for the number one spot). Congrats to Cole World for landing on top of the chart! Another win for hip hop!

J. Cole has not taken his album release date for granted as the rapper has been making heavy promotional rounds in the NYC today. Cole started his day at 10 am talking to fans in a live online chat – answering questions and offering insight on his album.
By the afternoon – Cole took to the streets of New York for an impromptu performance at Union Square of “Can’t Get Enough” for his VEVO GO show …
And then later heading over to 106th and Park for an 106th and “Cole” takeover.
