Last week Oxygen premiered their new series, “Sisterhood of Hip-Hop” to rave reviews and stellar ratings. The show which features five female emcees and their individual journey as artists, debuted at #2, for the most social cable reality program in primetime.

During premiere day, I had the pleasure of riding along with the ladies as they made their press stops — which ended with an exclusive premiere dinner at Del Frisco’s Grille in New York.

While the day proved to be quite in sync and on schedule, there was plenty of “dramatic” moments captured during the evening as I sat with the ladies to get the full scoop on their so-called “sisterhood”, the underlying competition, the Nicki Minaj factor, and how they plan to avoid being labeled….




It’s official, Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter Algebra Blessett is back on the scene with a new album entitled, Recovery.

The songstress stopped by Ms. Drama’s radio show for an intimate sit down with the Atlanta, Georgia native and to discuss her roots in music, her sultry sound, her newfound talent as an aerialist and the story behind her “Recovery”.

Ms. Drama TV is sad to report that Hustle Gang’s rapper Doe B was killed early Saturday morning during a shooting in his hometown of Montgomery, Alabama. The rapper, born Glenn Thomas, was 22 years old and was one of our artist spotlights a few months ago.

Interestingly, our conversation touched on his focus to move past the violence, taking a lesson from ODB, and wanting to do better for his family…
