Hip-Hop has always been a brotherhood. Even in death, Slim Dunkin is being taken care of by two of the men he worked closely with; Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame. The rappers will be taking care of most of the cost for the young rapper’s funeral on Friday, December 23. Slim Dunkin’s funeral will be held in Atlanta at 11 a.m. at Berean Christian Church.

Rapper Slim Dunkin Dead At 24

Earlier tonight, Slim Dunkin — recently featured on Gucci Mane’s BAYTL — was shot in front of a studio in Atlanta. The rapper whose real name is Mario Hamilton was pronounced dead at Grady Memorial Hospital.
WSBTV reports:
Investigators said Hamilton was shooting a music video at the studio when something went wrong.
“Now it’s my understanding prior to the video shoot, Mr. Hamilton became involved in a verbal altercation with another individual who we believe produced a handgun, discharged that weapon at least one time, striking Mr. Hamilton in the chest,” Maj. Keith Meadows with the Atlanta Police Department said.
Police said they have questioned about 8 people who were at the studio at the time of the shooting.

Gucci Mane & V-Nasty Team Up For A Collaborative LP “BAYTL”

This is an odd combination but in this day & age, we’ve seen some of the weirdest duo make music together. Some for the better, some for the worst. Gucci teammed up with Kreyshawn sidekick V-Nasty for an album entitled “BAYTL” It’s set to drop on December 13th. Here’s what Gucci had to say about his new LP
“Many people are going to be surprised by BAYTL,” reveals Gucci Mane. “This by far is my most controversial mixtape to date.” On how she came to work with the rapper, V-Nasty chimes in, “I’ve been a fan of Gucci since Trap House. We had the opportunity to connect through mutual friends and when offered the opportunity, I didn’t have to think twice. This album is all about having good, old-fashioned, hoodrat fun with friends.”

Waka Flocka and Gucci Mane are ready to hit the streets August 9th as the duo is set to release their upcoming album ”1017 Bricksquad Presents Gucci Mane & Waka Flocka – Ferrari Boyz”. As reported by MSDTV, the label mates recently had a listening event in Atlanta offering as sneak peak to exclusive cuts from their album.

News: “Ferrari Boyz” Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Host Listening Party For New Album In ATL |Photos|

The self-titled “Ferrari Boyz”, Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka hosted a listening party at Atlanta’s infamous PatchWerk Studios, where they played cuts off of their new album with the same name. Those in attendance included, MMG’s Wale, Lex Luger, Bricksquad artist Slim Dunkin, and more. Check out pictures from the event after the break.
The artists also released “15th and the 1st” – a track off their upcoming album scheduled to drop August 9th. The new collaborative street album from the Atlanta rappers is said to include 16 tracks, some of which features production from Drumma Boy, Fat Boi and Shawty Redd.
“15 and the 1st” will be the third song released from the album; you can find the first two here, posted earlier by MSDTV!
