OFWGKTA’s Syd The Kyd Calls Out Missy Elliott, Alicia Keys and Queen Latifah

OFWGKTA producer and sometimes rapper Syd the Kyd graced the cover of this week’s edition of LA Weekly. Since Syd is a member of a controversial and outspoken group you never know what is going to come out of her mouth. Well, her latest statement about lesbians in urban music may put a few panties in a bunch.
Syd the Kyd called out Queen Latifah, Alicia Keys and Missy Elliott as lesbians!
“There’s Alicia Keys, who’s married to Swizz Beatz – we know that shit ain’t real. You got Queen Latifah kissing Common in movies. Missy Elliott saying she don’t wanna hang with bitches. You know she loves her some bitches.”
Oddly enough, although Syd identifies as gay, she is not entirely fond of the word “lesbian.”
To date none of the artists she called out have issued any statements.

Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop: Swizz Beatz Launches Lotus, Reebok & More

Last week, a host of celebrity pals including T.I., Stephen Baldwin, Carmelo Anthony, wife Alicia Keys and Russell Simmons joined Swizz Beatz as he unveiled the first chrome-colored Lotus. Currently, Swizz is the VP of Creative Design and Global Marketing for the British auto brand. We found ourselves scratching our heads and wondered, “just how many jobs does Swizz Beatz have?”
With James Brown deceased, the Grammy award winner is ripe for the title of “The Hardest Working Man in Show Business.” We’ve noticed he’s got quite a few titles under his belt and quite frankly, we’re not sure how he makes time to produce music for the likes of Beyonce, Jay-Z, Chris Brown, T.I., Busta Rhymes, Whitney Houston and other chart toppers.

Swizz Beatz Alleged Jumpoff Gives Details On Affair In New Interview |Video|

Earlier this week, an alleged sexually charged text conversation between producer Swizz Beatz and singer Christina Elizabeth was leaked online forcing the producer and his Grammy Award winning wife to deny the rumors on Twitter. Apparently the denial set the aspiring singer over the edge, as she released a statement to Bossip detailing her side of the story.
“I would like to confirm that the rumor about Swizz Beatz cheating on Mashonda with me is absolutely true. I would also like to confirm that the rumors about Swizz ‘sexting’ me, even in his present marriage, are absolutely true. I am also confirming that I lost my cell phone and someone else posted all the stuff that you see on the internet.”
“Recently, we’ve been contacting each other (as you’ve all seen), but I haven’t physically seen him. We were making plans to, but I had to work and I wasn’t going to take off work to go see him.”
“Even though Swizz offered and offered and offered to buy me things, the only thing I accepted was plane tickets to go see him. He’s a wonderful man and I had a great time with him as well as a great relationship. Of course he’ll deny the whole thing and of course Alicia will stand up for her man. It’s understood.”
As if her statement didn’t do enough damage, the alleged jumpoff – went on a local radio station to discuss the explicit text message exchange.

Alicia rocked a pair of short-shorts with gladiator sandals – an obvious attempt at hiding the cankles she has, while also beating the heat; the combination was not very flattering to say the least. So…Alicia hasn’t quite lost all of the baby fat that we thought she did – can we blame her for just trying to stay cool on a hot summer day in the city? Can we?!
