Aside from her position as a radio personality for NYC’s Power 105.1, Angela Yee took some time to show Pynk Mag her personal shoe collection, which she says is valued at about….$70,000?!  Yee posed in some pictures for the magazine, where she is surrounded by a massive array of shoes that she owns.  She says she has been working on her collection for about 10 years now – hard work truly pays off.

Yesterday wasn’t the best day for the Bajan songstress. First it was the weather that almost made it impossible to fly to Dallas, Texas where she would be performing along with J.Cole on the Loud Tour. The radical weather had stopped all planes and jets from taking off which made the singer panic but reach out to her fans. Once the weather calmed down its was wheels up and there she was in Dallas. It would only be a matter of time before she hit the stage and fireworks went off. It’s being reported that when the fire works went off, they hit an overhead light which caused the fire. That light fell and hit the stage and as debris started to fall,the fire increased. Sources say that Rihanna’s brave security staff ran into the stage and grabbed her up just in time. Moments after being taken off of stage, Rihanna tweeted how crazy the show was in Dallas.

“DALLAS!!! We set the stage on FYAH TONIGHT!!! LITERALLY!!!” Rihanna wrote on Twitter. “I was havin so much fun wit yall too!!! I gotta come back man!!!”

“Heading into a production meeting to find out exactly what happened,” she later wrote, saying she was glad her fans were safe and promising to come back.

It’s confirmed that Rihanna was not injured and is doing fine. No word on any other injuries. Looks like it was a good show turned bad.

DJ Cassidy brought in the big 3-0 last night at the Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum in NYC,  sponsored by Hennessy Black. He was not alone though. Carmelo Anthony, Swizz Beats, Russell Simmons, and Kevin Liles were just a few big names in attendance. DJ Cassidy, who was all decked out in canary yellow last night , appeared to be having the times of his life. Amongst the guest, Swizz Beats and New Edition hot the stage to perform. R&B singer Monica is making her way back into the spotlight. Monica has released a new track titled “Anything (To Find You)” which features Rick Ross and Lil’ Kim. She reached out to Missy Elliot, one of her favorite producers and friends to tap into the old vintage Monica sound. Tyrese has officially returned to music. Between his major movie roles, writing books and spending time with his beautiful daughter, music was put on hold but Tyrese has released his first single of his new album titled ” I Gotta Chick” featuring Tyga and R.Kelly. Tyrese took to his twitter page to post a picture from the video shoot.

The 2011 Essence Music Festival taking place this weekend hosted a Belvedere VIP Lounge which attracted a long list of celeb appearances including VIP guests, as well as several performers from the festival.  In attendance were, Jennifer Hudson, singer Ledisi, Nene Leakes (Real Housewives of ATL), singer Kem, actor Hosea Chancez (BET’s The Game), Rocsi, (106th and Park), and actor Lance Gross, in addition to many others.

The Lounge also allowed for several of the guests to partake in a “Charity Celeb Bartending Challenge”, where attendees, Hosea Chancez, Rocsi and Lance Gross mixed and served the official drink of the festival, ”The Belve Peach Essence”, to fans and other VIP guests.  The charity effort was to help contribute donations to The Red Cross of New Orleans.

Belvedere Vodka, which is the world’s first super premium vodka, is establishing a deeper relationship in New Orleans historic culture with their role as exclusive spirit sponsorship of the 2011 Essence Music Festival, taking place from July 1st to the 3rd.

So, apparently, Lebron James finally gets some satisfaction at finishing on the court – by dunking on a kid at summer camp?!  Looks like James’ ego is still bruised from being dunked on by then Xavier transfer, Jordan Crawford during a pick-up game at the Lebron James Skills Academy in Ohio last year.  The Miami Heat star made an appearance at a youth basketball camp in New Jersey recently, by playing a “friendly” game of knockout with the campers.  Not only does James prove his inconsistency from outside by missing two jumpers that would have eliminated the kid in front of him out of the game, but he retaliates by dunking the rebound and completely leveling the kid half his size.   No one was hurt, and it appears as if it was laughed off, as the kid writes on his Facebook wall, “Got dunked on by Lebron but he gave me his shoes so its alll good broo,” but…was all that really necessary?  You decide…
