Alfonso Ribeiro stopped by the Urban Suite to discuss the new season of America’s Funniest Home Videos.

While there, we had to discuss  a few pressing matters like … the Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

Since most still remember him as the preppy Carlton Banks from the Fresh Prince, I had to ask Ribeiro about a few Fresh Prince related questions like — what’s up with a reboot, what’s good with the original Aunt Viv and is the “Carlton” dance officially retired. Remember Quvenzhané Wallis — that cute little girl who at age nine was the youngest actress to receive an Oscar nomination for her role as Hushpuppy in Beasts of the Southern Wild?

Well, now Quvenzhané is a teenager and with two new published children’s books on her hands: A Night Out with Mama which recalls her night at the Oscars and Shai & Emmie Star in Break an Egg a new children’s series.

Quvenzhané stopped by the Urban Suite to discuss her new projects, life after the Oscars, and meeting with Beyonce for the first time. It appears the Beyonce might be calling on her again for another project… Check after the break for the full interview…

Kim Fields stopped by the Urban Suite to discuss her new faith-based film, A Question of Faith.

In addition to talking about her new role — she also talked about the possibility of reboots for some of her beloved sitcoms including, Facts of Life and my favorite — Living Single.

Kim also weighed in on Dancing with the Stars (in case any of you actually watch it)  and why Real Housewives of Atlanta was a chapter in her life she’s unlikely to reopen…

Last week, I chopped it up with the incomporable Lee Daniels. In addition to discussing the new seasons of Empire and Star, Daniels weighed in on President Trump and the #TakeTheKnee protest.

Last week I had the pleasure of interviewing Tichina Arnold, Jessie T. Usher and Teyonah Parris
for the fourth season of Survior’s Remorse.

In addition to discussing some of the highlights for the new season, we discussed Tichina being award the McDonald’s 365 Award by Jessie, Teyonah’s new partnership with Dark & Lovely, and some of the upcoming music (hint, hint), and projects for the cast.
