China has officially banned Beyoncé’s hit track, ‘Run the World’ which is featured off of her fourth studio album, “4.” However, Bey is only one of many successful stars to have their music banned from the populous country; others included Katy Perry’s, ‘E.T.’ featuring Kanye West and The Backstreet Boy’s 1999 sensation, ‘I Want It That Way.  This is pretty surprising considering the content of the listed songs are not necessarily offensive in any way.

On a previous list made by the Chinese Ministry, Lady GaGa’s, ‘Born This Way,’ already made the cut. But, this time around GaGa adds six songs to the lengthy list, including ‘The Edge of Glory,’ ‘Hair,’ ‘Americano,’ ‘Judas,’ ‘Bloody Mary’ and ‘Marry the Night.’

The Chinese Ministry said in a statement to CNN, “Our targets this time are online music products that we have not registered or reviewed. They don’t necessarily contain illegal content.”

How do you feel about this decision? Let MSDTV know!

The song was leak prematurely a month ago & was taken off the net. Today, J.Cole finally liberated the song on iTunes (support & go cop it!) Now that the second single is out, it only means one thing: the video should be on it’s way real soon. This song is an instant hit! Don’t know why but it has this “Big Pimpin” feel to it.

Common recently sat down with Reekbok to talk in depth about his sixth studio album, ‘Be,’ on ‘Classic Albums by Classic Artists,’ presented by Reebok Classics and Rock the Bells. Produced by Kanye West, “Be” not only sold over 800,000 copies upon its release back in May 0f 2005, but also hit the Billboard 200 chart at No. 2!

Here’s an excerpt of what the Chi Town native had to offer:

“I’m from Chicago, I got to give what I know I come from and it was like hitting the core of that and knowing that every city, every part of the world has a corner to it. It might be called something different, it might be, you know, “The Corner,” but it’s something that… a junction where people come to commute and people like relate….It just was like a song I wanted to introduce what I was about, you know and what this album was going to be about.”

Posted by Ricki P. On August - 30 - 2011

This is the first time in a hot minute we hear Roscoe Dash on a solo joint. He’s usually murdering people hooks. This Kane Beatz produced song is STRICTLY for the clubs. Can you tell by the hook? If this pops off properly, don’t be surprise to see a video on your television screen this fall. We think he’s got another banger under his belt.

Last up in the early morning exclusive his Terius Nash…better known as TheDream. We’re hours away from getting his free album “1977″, which he will be releasing under his real name (to avoid headache with his label, Def Jam)  He’s not sure even he can avoid that.

“Chances “DefJam” puts a Cease and Desist on 1977 unfortunately Very High. but i think yall will have it before lawyers make me take it down.”

Still, that didn’t stop him from giving us a little taste of what to come. The first song on “1977″ is plain and simple “vintage” Dream music. Come back on Wednesday for the full course meal.

Side note: Lyrics to the song available after the jump.
