The NBA lockout is still underway making many NBA players think hard about their finances and spending. With the lockout taking its toll on those who haven’t yet reached “baller” status, a few of the all-stars are offering their help to their down and out teammates.

In a recent press conference, Billy Hunter, the executive director of the National Basketball Players Assn.,talked to one-tenth of his 400-plus locked out players about the issue.

Although the NBA owners are currently holding on to the idea that they need to significantly slash payroll and institute a hard salary cap as a response to their claim 23 of 30 teams are losing money, Hunter’s players are scheduled for some rough times ahead without fall and winter paychecks.

In an interview with the L.A. Times, Hunter told the paper his ideas on the solution to find a middle ground. Check out an excerpt from Hunter’s interview after the break and how players like Kobe and LeBron will subsidize their teammate’s income after the break.

Then in a later interview with Tami Roman, Roman talks about the show being drama driven and the fact that Meeka really “shot herself in her own foot” by filing that lawsuit against her. Roman also talks about the “non factor” issue and her feelings on the L.A. BBW.

Earlier this week, an alleged sexually charged text conversation between producer Swizz Beatz and singer Christina Elizabeth was leaked online forcing the producer and his Grammy Award winning wife to deny the rumors on Twitter. Apparently the denial set the aspiring singer over the edge, as she released a statement to Bossip detailing her side of the story.

“I would like to confirm that the rumor about Swizz Beatz cheating on Mashonda with me is absolutely true. I would also like to confirm that the rumors about Swizz ‘sexting’ me, even in his present marriage, are absolutely true. I am also confirming that I lost my cell phone and someone else posted all the stuff that you see on the internet.”

“Recently, we’ve been contacting each other (as you’ve all seen), but I haven’t physically seen him. We were making plans to, but I had to work and I wasn’t going to take off work to go see him.”

“Even though Swizz offered and offered and offered to buy me things, the only thing I accepted was plane tickets to go see him. He’s a wonderful man and I had a great time with him as well as a great relationship. Of course he’ll deny the whole thing and of course Alicia will stand up for her man. It’s understood.”

As if her statement didn’t do enough damage, the alleged jumpoff – went on a local radio station to discuss the explicit text message exchange.

In a recent interview with The Boston Herald, Chad OchoCinco’s fiancee’, Evelyn Lozada, made her official Boston debut in a upcoming spread over the weekend where she talked about having twins with her NFLer and why she’s definitely not a “gold-digger”.

Now that reality TV star Evelyn Lozada is rumored to be leaving the hit show, Basketball Wives, she has opened up about her plans to start a new family with her baller husband Chad Ochocinco (New England Patriots) in Boston.

In the interview, Lozada talks about relocating to Boston, where she and fiancée are moving into a two bedroom, two bath home in Foxboro. While the soon to be newlywed is ready to take on the role of a doting wife, Evelyn explains she’s also interested in getting acquainted with supermodel Gisele Bundchen (girlfriend of Patriots QB Tom Brady).

“I’m not opposed to a double date. I’d invite them out. We’re hoping to bring some flavor and fun to Boston. Maybe it could be Tom, Gisele, Evelyn and Chad take over Boston. That would be cool.”

(She’s definitely optimistic with that one O_o)

In defense of her “gold-digger” label, Evelyn addressed the topic of going from a “basketball wife” to a “football wife”, since she’s never officially made it to the alter:

“Listen, first of all, I met Antoine (former Boston Celtics player Antoine Walker) in New York. I’m not one of those girls who chase. I’m not sitting in front of the hotel. This is how my life played out for me.

When I started dating my ex (Walker), once you date one, you’re labeled. It doesn’t bother me. I didn’t chase Chad. It’s just something that happened.”

The Game has been taking his promotional tactics to the next level since the release of his R.E.D. album only a few weeks ago.  The Compton rapper has been participating in some online controversy with the recent rant on closeted gay men on the DL and former boss 50 Cent’s “questionable” sexuality.

In an interview with VLAD TV last week, The Game explained:

“Game don’t have a problem with gay people. Game has problem with people who are pretending not to be gay…The number one issue with that is that you could be fooling somebody and you could give them AIDS and they can die and so that in the closet shit is real scary. So, we’ve got to get into the real seriousness of it and it’s just not fair to other people…”

(Don’t you love how he refers to himself in third person?)

The Game responded to TMZ and others about his statements in a series of tweets, one of which suggested that fellow rapper 50 Cent is gay.

Isn’t it great to hear about strong women with a good message? Well MSDTV is offering a little “cover spotlight” to Ms. Megan Good and First Lady Michelle Obama who are headlining two popular magazine covers.

In the latest issue of “ROLLING OUT” Magazine, Megan Good reveals how she put herself on the right spiritual path, is embracing her 30s and her hopes on inspiring other women. See a few of the excerpts below:

RO: Is there a newfound freedom in going after these new roles, and not allowing yourself to be confined to certain types of characters? Has this approach helped to birth a new Meagan?

MG: No, my freedom and renewal comes from finally being happy with who I am, and being comfortable with all of me — even my shortcomings. I have come to a place in my life where I don’t have a problem saying or doing what I feel publicly. The only thing that I do focus on is walking a spiritual line, and that means that I want to represent a woman of God. I want to be a virtuous woman of God, but by that same token, I’m very different in my approach. I’m not overly religious. I’m not judgmental. I don’t look down on people and I don’t try and force what I feel on them. But the truth is, I love Jesus Christ and I am a Christian.

Now, I’m not perfect by any means, but I’m improving daily. I have to, because I know that there [are] a lot of young girls watching me, and I do want to teach them and be a positive influence in their lives. I want them to know that they can go out and have fun, but you also have to be smart. And I want them to know that if they choose to have a boyfriend, they need to always respect themselves and know their worth, and demand that he do the same. I also want to encourage young girls to be abstinent … as you can see, I just really want to be a positive influence.

Check out more photos of Megan Good after the break and Mrs. Obama’s plan to inspire young women.

The Dream recently opened up to Vibe Magazine about his new album slated to be released this fall, dealing with thoughts of suicide, his ex wife, and why he’s okay with being the “bad guy”.

In the interview The Dream explains, why he’s not interested in working with his ex, Ms. Milian on music:

VM: I caught a tweet between you two that made it seem as if you were working musically again.

TD: Mmm-mmm. She asked me but…

VM: You don’t want to mix work and divorce together?
TD: [Shakes head]

VM: For someone who loves a challenge, that’s a little surprising to hear.

TD: Me and Christina already discussed what I think she should be doing and I would never do anything other than what I think is as real as she could be.
