The baddest b*tch is back and she has a new look and sound. Rapper Trina’s style has made a 180 thanks to celebrity stylist June Ambrose. In VH1′s “Styled By June,” the innovative stylist takes stars from the brink of fashion failure to new heights of style. “Styled By June” allows viewers to enter Ambrose’s world which she refers to as the “Juniverse.” Viewers will watch Ambrose navigate the fashion world while juggling a husband, two children and two dogs.

MSDTV joined a select group of music and fashion insiders, fans and press at a taping of “Styled By June” where Trina debuted her new look and performed her new single “Outerspace” with new artist Kid Cadet.

“Styled By June” airs Feb. 27 on VH1.

Tennis pro, Serena Williams may be having second thoughts about ending it with her former boyfriend and celebrity pal, Common.

Earlier today, the two were spotted engaging in a twitter conversation about Common’s song, “Loving I Lost” which is featured on his The Dreamer/The Believer album. After Serena responded to Common’s tweet about the favorite song from his album, Common took the opportunity to offer Serena a personal invitation to his upcoming video for it.

While their public interaction may be completely innocent, it seems pretty obvious that the two still have strong feelings for each other.

And although we’re not exactly sure what broke this power couple up, we can definitely say, time does heal all wounds and so does the “Loving [one] lost”.

On a side note, now that Drake has found another video hoe, model, chick, vixen to entertain himself with – ain’t it about time Common got back on his Serena game? Just saying.

On December 22, 2011 Avianne & Co., threw their annual holiday bash at the exclusive Gold Bar in New York City. Celebrity guests included model Camille McDonald (America’s Next Top Model) and Carla Facciola (Mob Wives). Avianne  & Co., clients including several from the television, music and fashion industries, and select media rounded out the group of well-dressed guests.

If the name Avianne & Co., sounds familiar perhaps you’ve seen the store frequented by rappers Jim Jones, Juelz Santana and Jones’ fiancee Chrissy Lampkin on the hit show “Love & Hip Hop.” In years past, Academy Award-winner Jamie Foxx and actress Jaime Pressly have been the face of the men’s and women’s lines, respectively.

Avianne & Co., is a family run diamond jewelry company with more than a decade of history in the Diamond District. Brothers Joseph and Izzy Aranbayev have built their business via a loyal customer base of athletes, musicians, actors, models and other connoisseurs of fine diamond jewelry and watches. They have crafted many bespoke pieces including a timepiece given to “Mission Impossible” star, Tom Cruise — which was gifted to the actor by his friend Jamie Foxx. From 2006-2008, Avianne & Co., presented watches to Oscar winners and nominees.

Altruism runs deep in the veins of the Aranbayev brothers. Avianne & Co., has participated in charity events for the Quincy Jones Foundation and Arthur Ashe Foundation.

Last week MSDTV joined Kandi Burruss at Babeland  Soho for the launch of her Bedroom Kandi adult toy line. As reported, Kandi was generous enough to engage fans in a Q & A session. One of the hot topics was the Ridiculous incident that sent Mama Joyce — Kandi’s mom — into a fit of rage.

It turns out this was not the first time Kandi has been treated to the sight that is Ridiculous.

Last night MSDTV joined invited media, bloggers and fans for a very intimate conversation with Kandi Burruss at Babeland in New York City’s trendy Soho neighborhood. Babeland was packed with fans eager to see Kandi, hear gossip from The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, and to purchase goodies from her Bedroom Kandi line.

Before Kandi arrived guests were able to see the tasteful toys close up. All of the toys in the Bedroom Kandi line are made from body friendly silicone that is soft to the touch. Men and women alike were very taken with the products from the line including; Kandi Kisses, Hold On To Me, Make Me Over, Happiness & Joy and BK’s Natural Intimate Lubricant.

It’s clear Kandi is adored by her fans. She arrived to see women of all ages, shapes sizes and races crammed into Babeland’s store. Kandi immediately struck a pose and started taking photographs with fans — many of whom already purchased a piece (or three) from her sex toy collection.

After the photo ops with fans, Kandi jumped into the fan Q&A session and nothing was held back. Kandi fielded questions about her career, RHOA, her toy line and sex. MSDTV and guests found out a few interesting things about Kandi and the Bedroom Kandi collection.

Honorees Roberta Flack and Mona Scott-Young

MSDTV joined some of New York’s movers and shakers as R&B legend Roberta Flack, former Violator Records President and Monami Entertainment founder Mona Scott-Young and recording artist Anthony Hamilton were honored by Assemblyman Keith Wright and Senator Bill Perkins on December 13th. Flack, Scott-Young and Hamilton were honored for being trendsetters and innovators in the music and entertainment fields by Inspired In New York.

The event was held at Tony Award winner George Faison’s Faison Firehouse Theater. The theater is home to the American Performing Arts Collaborative (APAC), a non-for-profit founded by Faison.

MSDTV secured an exclusive interview with Kandi Burruss, the sweetheart of The Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA). As reported earlier, Kandi has been having a phenomenal year. She’s a break out reality star, successful producer and entrepreneur. Kandi was her usual bubbly self and didn’t shy away from answering tough questions. Kandi let us in on new ventures, the secret to keeping focused while on reality television and much more.

Kandi on New Apps
On the heels of the successful Kandi Koated Spades, — currently ranked #4 on iTunes’ Top Paid iPhone Card Apps — Kandi will produce additional apps with C.J. Peters and Marcus Matthews of Konsole Kingz. Soon, they’ll launch new games familiar to urban audiences, with technological innovations.

Kandi and the Konsole Kingz team are planning to visit several colleges including prominent HBCUs in early 2012 to promote Kandi Koated Spades.

In addition to working with Konsole Kingz, Kandi plans to create an app complimentary to the Happiness & Joy dual-stimulation vibrator from her Bedroom Kandi line of intimate toys. The vibrator wirelessly stimulates the user to the beat of music.

New and Existing Projects
Recently, Kandi shot a pilot for Bravo’s The Kandi Factory; a special where Burruss aims transform amateur entertainers into genuine stars:

“With her breakout personality and straightforward attitude, Bravo fans have grown to love Kandi on The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Bravo’s VP of Development Eli Lehrer says. “The Kandi Factory will capture a unique look at her successful music career as Kandi transforms two music hopefuls into the next big pop star.”

Apparently, pop star hopefuls have been bombarding Burruss for help in launching their musical careers. On the special, the Grammy-winning housewife will choose two performers who will come to Atlanta and learn the basics for music stardom from Burruss and her team.

Since Bedroom Kandi has been receiving rave reviews and is nominated for AVN’s Best Overall Sex Toy Line Award, Kandi aims to grow the brand by offering consumers the opportunity to be home party consultants.  Think Avon for the sexy set.

Also, she’s the executive producer of a new show where she is not featured on the front end.

The Christmas season may last an entire month, but a soulful holiday line up like tonight only comes once a year on BET.

With that in mind, this year’s BET’s annual holiday special, A VERY BET CHRISTMAS premiers at 8pm.

This one-hour primetime special will feature Christmas memories and musical performances by Robin Thicke, Kurtis Blow, Mindless Behavior, Monica, Lloyd, Kurtis Blow, Jacob Latimore and BET’s Music Matters artist, Elle Varner.   A VERY BET CHRISTMAS will also world premiere “When Christmas Comes,” Mariah Carey and John Legend’s latest holiday video.
