Michelle Obama is a phenomenal woman. She’s proven herself to be a world-class business woman, wife and mother several times over. It’s no wonder she made Babble’s “8 Celebrity Mothers Who Have Changed Our World” list.
President Barack Obama’s wife and the mother of Malia, aged 13, and Sasha, aged 10 is a force with which to be reckoned. One minute she’s doing the “Dougie” with children in the inner city as a part of the Let’s Move initiative; next she’s doing a potato sack race with a talk show host; and she follows that up by hosting royalty at the White House.
Not only is Michelle Obama the first African-American First Lady, but she’s also perhaps the most real and down-to-earth public figure we’ve ever seen come out of Washington, D.C.. Yes, she shops at Target and White House Black Market, and yes, she wears cardigans and strapless dresses when she meets the Queen of England and goes to White House Balls. She goes to the gym, she’s got killer guns on those arms of hers, and she’s proud of it. We absolutely love her as both a woman and a mother.
We couldn’t agree more. Michelle Obama has inspired women of all races to soar to new heights!
Happy Mother’s Day to our mothers, Michelle Obama and our lovely MSDTV readers (this goes for you dads who are doing double duty)!
