There is no disputing Machine Gun Kelly is a wild boy. The rapper who is signed to the Bad Boy imprint moved the crowd at New York City’s Hiro Ballroom into a frenzy (by frenzy we mean mosh pit) at the joint party for the release of his EP “Half Naked and Almost Famous,” and Inked magazine’s annual Skin and Style issue featuring the wild boy on the cover.
Guests at the raucous event included die hard fans, old school friends, and tastemakers. Celebrity guests included Machine Gun Kelly’s (MGK) Bad Boy labelmate French Montana; hip hop group Travis Porter; model Tahiry; Peter Hadar; Cheri Dennis (A.K.A Cheri Coke); Bad Boy president Harve Pierre; “La La’s Full Court Life” star, and celebrity trainer Hollywood Hino, and Curren$y.
French Montana, and Travis Porter warmed up the crowd with performances of their hits “Shot Caller;” “Stay Schemin,” and “You Don’t Know Bout It” respectively. Later, the man of the hour MGK performed his hit single “Wild Boy” featuring Waka Flocka Flame.
After MGK’s performance that set the performance space ablaze, and had the artist jumping into the audience to start a mosh pit he was presented with a celebratory cake. Machine Gun Kelly kept it punk rock as he smashed his face into the cake, and threw it out into the audience. Sharing is caring, and MGK made it known that he loves his fans.
DJ Prostyle and DJ Kalkutta entertained the crowd before and after performances.
The event was sponsored by Ciroc (do you think Sean “P. Diddy” Combs would have it any other way), and produced in conjunction with Inked Magazine, Bad Boy Entertainment, and Interscope Records.
Stay tuned for more.
