Rapper T.I. is gearing up for his latest acting endeavor in the Lionsgate TV-produced dramatic series, BOSS that airs on the cable network Starz. MSDTV has some of the first looks of T.I. in his role as “Trey,” “a former gangbanger with his eye on a political career”.
BOSS, headlines with the golden globe award winning actor Kelsey Grammer as Chicago mayor “Tom Kane.” According to Deadline.com:
T.I.’s character “is the conduit between a local Alderman and the only group powerful enough to function as a grassroots organization in the projects – gangs.”
Sanaa Lathan (pictured below) was also cast as a season two regular in the role of “Mona,” an “incorruptible Chief of Staff” with whom Grammer’s Tom Kane becomes fixated.
