Legendary singer and actress Whitney Houston will be laid to rest tomorrow, Saturday, February 18. Although the family will not have a public viewing multiple outlets will live stream Houston’s home going service.
Whitney Elizabeth Houston will be laid to rest at The New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey at 12 noon. Whitney got her start as a soloist in the church’s junior choir. In addition to Houston’s mother Cissy, and daughter Bobbi Kristina; her cousin Dionne Warwick, mentor Clive Davis, ex-boyfriend Ray J, “The Bodyguard” co-star Kevin Costner, and other close family and friends will attend the service.
Bobby Brown, Houston’s ex-husband and the father of her only child Bobbi Kristina will be in attendance.
Troubled actor Mel Gibson was invited to the service; however, he is unable to attend because of a prior family engagement. Gibson helped Houston when she hit bottom several years ago.
