On Thursday night President Barack Obama took New York City by storm as he ramped up fundraising efforts for his 2012 presidential campaign. President Obama attended three fundraisers with ticket prices ranging from $100 to $38,500 per person.

The POTUS made his last stop at the world-famous Apollo Theater where he serenaded the audience with a bar from Rev. Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together”.

2012 is a big year for President Barack Obama. He was the first presidential candidate to successfully use social media to engage voters. So, what’s he going to do to change the game this election year? Comedy.

On Monday, Jan. 16 NBC celebrated actress, comedienne and national treasure Betty White’s 90th birthday with a televised gala, “A Tribute to America’s Golden Girl.” President Barack Obama got in the game with a joke near and dear to a topic that has plagued him for much of his presidency; the question of his birth origin.

The set up is great; the POTUS starts off writing a letter where he shares his disbelief of Betty White’s age because she “looks so fantastic and full of energy.” Later he demands she produce a long-form version of her birth certificate.

That was comedy gold. Our hats are off to whoever developed and wrote that skit.

Stay tuned for more.

Future gave a special performance of his hit song “Tony Montana” at the 49ers vs. Saints playoff game this past weekend. “Tony Montana” is now serving as the 49ers “signature song” for the season. More pictures after the break.

“By the midpoint of the regular season, the 49ers special teams units adopted a signature song for kickoffs. Whenever Future’s “Tony Montana” began to play at Candlestick Park, the song immediately fueled the energy of the kickoff teams and in turn, the whole squad.” – 49ers.com
