Last night actresses Viola Davis, Paula Patton and Octavia Spencer were visions of Black beauty at The Golden Globes. Octavia Spencer took home the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress In A Supporting Role in a Motion Picture for her role in “The Help.”
In addition to Octavia Spencer, Morgan Freeman was honored with the Cecille B. DeMille Award for “outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment”. English actor Idris Elba didn’t go home alone. Elba won the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actor in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television.
Elba’s “Luther” is a must see.
Congratulations to all the nominees and winners.
Stay tuned for more.
