Jennifer Hudson decided to shut down the false reports of her breakup between her and fiance David Otunga on the AMAs red carpet on Sunday as the signer explained the two are still together and very much in love.

“We’re going to get married, and I know they said we had broken up. We’ve never broken up. We’re like, ‘Where did that come from?’ We’re still here,” she told Access Hollywood.

While it may come as a surprise for Hudson, her long engagement to Otunga has people wondering about their relationship – and questioning their commitment. Hudson suggests that since the two are constantly apart in public view, people have started to speculate they had broken up, but she blames their busy schedules on the separation.

After addressing the rumors, Hudson added her thoughts on relationships:

“Date in your hometown ’cause David and I are from Chicago. So, that’s our trick… common interests, similar backgrounds and a familiarness,” she said.

Ice Cube is set on making his next “Friday” movie an unforgettable one as TMZ is reporting he’s recently reached out to John Witherspoon to reprise his role as Cube’s father.

As reported by MSDTV, Witherspoon is not the first original cast member that is scheduled to come back for the 4th installment of Friday. So far Chris Tucker and neighborhood nuicance Deebo are also schedule to return.

Although, nothing is official confirmed through the film company, Witherspoon told TMZ, “I said, ‘HELL YEAHHHH! I am ready to do this!” in regards to him coming back.

So with burrito-eating, dog-catching father Willie Jones, now on board – this may truly be a unforgetable Friday sequel.

The AMAs aired last night with the ladies taking lead in nominations and wins. Taylor Swift and Adele tied with three wins – with Swift taking home the prized artist of the year award and beating out Lady Gaga, Adele, Katy Perry and Lil Wayne.

Other winners included Maroon 5 as favorite pop-rock band/duo/group, Beyonce as favorite soul/R&B female artist, Bruno Mars as pop/rock male artist, Foo Fighters as favorite alternative rock artist, Rihanna for favorite soul/R&B album for “Loud,” Hot Chelle Rae as new artist of the year and Lady Antebellum as favorite country band/duo/group.

But it was clearly Nicki Minaj’s night as  she snagged two awards – in the rap/hip-hop category for best artist and album – winning over the likes of Lil Wayne, Kanye and Jay-Z.

Hmmm…after reading this, wouldn’t you think he’s talking about Drizzy? He looks pretty honest in the clip above. He goes off by saying he (Drake) makes good music but minutes later, fails to mention him in the list of artists he enjoys listening. Thinking about it…maybe he doesn’t like the lane Drizzy taking in the music biz & the fact he was caught chilling with his ex, Serena Williams. To be continue…
