In what may have been the longest audition ever, actress-comedian Aisha Tyler has finally landed her new gig as “The Talk” co-host after a week long stint.

Today will be the comedian’s first salaried day at the CBS daytime show, according to Deadline.com. She will join “The Talk” regulars Sara Gilbert, Julie Chen, Sharon Osbourne and Sheryl Underwood already at the table. Along with Underwood, Tyler is the second new co-host tapped for the talk show following the recent firing departure of Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete.

For the past 2 months, the talk show has screened quite a few guest hosts, including Kris Jenner and Molly Shannon, as Osbourne is taking some time off this fall.

Tyler, who is known as the first black actor to land a major role on NBC’s megahit “Friends,” is said to have talk show hosting experience. A few of her hosting gigs include CBS’ “Late Late Show” during the transitional period between Craig Kilborn and Craig Ferguson, host of E!’s “Talk Soup,” and in 2009, she even shot a pilot for her own talk show with ABC.

While her new gig will undoubtedly take the forefront of her career, Tyler, continues to do comedy tours and voices one of the leads on FX’s animated comedy “Archer.”

Bishop Eddie Long can’t seem to keep his self out of trouble as another lawsuit was filed against the pastor for allegedly scheming his church folks out of millions of dollars.

According to the Atlantic Journal-Constitution, the allegations stated in the lawsuit, stem from a three-day investment seminar Long held at the church in October 2009, at which church members were encouraged to invest in a company named City Capital Corporation, according to the suit. SMH.

The company’s then-CEO, Ephren Taylor, attended and was heralded by Long, attorney Jason Doss told the AJC. Doss, of Marietta, and attorney Quinton Seay are co-counsels in the suit.

“I am responsible for everyone I bring before you and what they say,” Long had said at the seminar, according to the lawsuit. “The gentleman that I am going to bring before you is an ordained minster. That gives me great pride to bring him for you.”

You definitely are RESPONSIBLE pastor. SMH.

Norway police apparently have their own system of catching criminals; if you have too much money on you – you’re either a security threat – or at least a possible suspect.

That was clearly the case for California rapper Snoop Dogg as he was reportedly stopped by immigration officials in Norway for carrying too much money. The rapper was due to make an appearance at a an Adidas store before performing at Oslo’s Spektrum Arena when he was pulled over. Snoop documented his experience via twitter:

“They talkn bout takn my $$!!” the Doggfather tweeted. “That aint rite!! Norway standup 4 the biggdogg!! they makn me late 4 this adidas instore autograph signin!”

He was eventually released and went about his business.

“Shout out 2 all 600 fans n Oslo who waited all day at the Adidas instore signin,” he tweeted. “Good lookn out.”

Not surprisingly, Norway is likely not to be high on his lists of future visits. Of course, MSDTV will keep you posted, stay tuned.
