KISS lead singer Gene Simmons and his long time girlfriend, Shannon Tweed tied the knot yesterday in Beverly Hills. With what might seem to be the longest engagement ever, after 28 years the couple exchanged vows at The Beverly Hills Hotel. According to TMZ the guest list included Playboy Hugh Hefner and KISS member Paul Stanley.

After two grown kids, a hit reality TV show and 28 years of living together, was the million dollar wedding really necessary? We guess after all those years Mr. Simmons owed his lady in waiting her DREAM wedding which included $2.5 million dollar diamonds !!!

We here at MSDTV, are not surprised that Mr.West has decided to launch a new clothing line for women.

Kanye West premiered his clothing line “DW” in Paris during Fashion Week. To be honest the reviews weren’t as great as one would think since he is a fashion icon himself.

Christina Binkley of The Wall Street Journal tweeted:

“Good thing West “has a solid day job.”

Cathy Horyn of The New York Times also stated:

“Next season Kanye should get a tailor so clothes might fit. Models swimming in some looks.”

There were many guest appearances that came out to support West and his new clothing line such as Terry Richardson,Mary-Kate Ashley Olsen,and Alexander Wang just to name a few. Not too sure of their reaction to the line but you can judge for yourself.

Unfortunately the peaceful protesting about Troy Davis execution wasn’t enough to stop this unjust act. On Saturday in Savannah Georgia, thousands gathered for his funeral.

Troy Davis was convicted of murdering a police officer. Not only did his friends and family believe that he was innocent but thousands across the country which is why his case drew world attention.

This painful but uniting service in Jonesville Baptist Church brought together his family, civil rights leaders, supporters and activist to show their determination. Although Davis may have been executed, the battle is not over. This monumental event has aroused a campaign across the country against the death penalty.

Raphael Warnock, the pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta states:

“There are some who think that now that Troy has gone … that our movement is gone, that our voices have been silenced and that our fire has gone out.But we have news for them today,we are just getting started.”

This heart moving and inspiring eulogy sparked flames of emotion. Leaving some in tears, others standing up with rounds of applaud. This service lasted for about three hours, involving Bible passages and songs of praise.

Many people did not wear the traditional black that represents the mourning of death but opted for “I AM TROY DAVIS” t-shirts to represent that the battle is not over but just beginning.

Back in May, Katy Perry hubby was deported from Japan and now he was denied entry into Canada. Brand turned to Twitter and asked for “HELP” by posting :

“HELP! I’m gonna be late for Casino Rama show unless someone can force Canadian customs officials to let us land in Orillia!”

Guess the Brand fans couldn’t get though to immigration as the comedians show was canceled.

NY Mercedes Benz Fashion week marched on with one less VIP celebrity. Kanye West was not spotted in the usual front row seats and endless red carpet events. Kayne skipped out and has been in Paris, preparring for this debut of his first clothing line “DW” (Named after his mother, who passed in 2007)

Tonight was the premiere of “DW” during Paris 2012 Fashion Week. Working along side notable designers and innovators, his team has been working hard at creating his new venture. If anything like the rapper, we can’t wait to see what Mr. West has in store for his millions of fans.
