CNN chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta speaks with Tionne ‘T-Boz’ Watkins, singer with the chart-topping group ‘TLC,’ about living with sickle cell anemia and her risky surgery to treat a brain tumor. She is now working on a new solo album and works to raise awareness for bone marrow treatments and blood diseases – particularly by encouraging more blood and marrow donations by African-Americans.
