“After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage. I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don’t work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best.“

We still haven’t got any words from Kris Humphries. This was done today so we’re sure it’s still a shocker to him but not to the rest of the world. Hang in there bud!

Nicki Minaj is finding out the true meaning of tough love as her Young Money mentor and head honcho has offered some harsh thoughts on her career in a recent interview with Vibe Magazine.

In the interview, Lil Wayne explains why his platinum recording artist is not at her peak as yet:

“I’m not satisfied with anything she’s done,” he told the magazine. “I believe she can do a whole lot more, and I believe she will do a whole lot more,” explained Weezy. “It’s not shocking, and it’s not surprising. It’s quite fitting. But other than that, it’s nowhere near the end.”

And in line of his vision, the femcee will be rocking the crowd at Super Bowl XLVI next year with Madonna among other expected collaborations and appearances.

This Tuesday, November 1st, BET’s newest sitcom REED BETWEEN THE LINES premieres two new consecutive episodes beginning at 10:00 p.m. Actress Lauren London guest stars as Carla’s (Tracee Ellis Ross) newest patient “Jentry.” Jentry seeks Carla’s help as she deals with her mother, Valencia’s (Vernee Watson) alcoholism. Fifteen years after their relationship in the hit movie “Waiting to Exhale,” Leon Robinson and Lela Rochon are back together and not much has changed in their upcoming episode of “Reed Between The Lines.” Still fueled by drama, “Don” (Leon Robinson) brings “Sherri” (Lela Rochon) his mistress to seek Carla’s counsel for their affair.

Director John Singleton is in talks of directing the upcoming Tupac documentary. Previous contender, Antoine Fuqua, backed down after  casting came to a standstill in pursuit of the lead actor to play Shakur. This resignation left a opportunity for Singleton to step in. A seasoned director, Singleton is responsible for films such as Boyz n’ The Hood and has worked with Tupac in the 1993 film Poetic Justice (co-star Janet Jackson).

Although this is only in the “in talks” phase, seemingly Singleton has the spot as the two have had great chemistry in the past.

NeNe Leaks has a lot to be relieved about this season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta as her anticipated arch enemy, Marlo Hampton, is reported to have been officially cut from the reality show.

Although Hampton was spotted in filming sessions with Cynthia Bailey, NeNe Leakes, Sheree Whitfield and Phaedra Parks, Hampton will not be an official cast member due to her own questionable status.

As reported by MSDTV, Hampton has quite a sketchy past – including an extensive criminal record which includes being arrested six times for various offenses. And although a contract was drawn up for the aspiring reality star, once the network found out about Hampton’s unreliable past – they decided to cut the pseudo housewife.

Interestingly enough, Hampton was also connected to NeNe’s recent ex, NFL player Chris Grant. She claims he proposed to her, while he’s denies ever being engaged to her. SMH.

Still, it looks like Marlo may get lucky as it does seem she will be included in a one-hour episode of the show where the cast goes on a trip to South Africa.

In what may be the year’s most anticipated tour, Watch The Throne, made it’s officially US debut last night in the ATL. And with two of hip hops biggest names sharing the stage, fans expected some pretty big surprises.

Unfortunately, the biggest surprise they received that night seemed to be Kanye West apparently dawning his own women’s line of clothing as he hit the stage in a leather skirt kilt.

West stepped on the stage sporting an all leather ensamble, seemingly drawing from the Africa Bambata era and his “Dressing Like a King” movement.

So is Mr. West fashion forward and “Dressing Like A King” or should he be citied for a major violation and hire a new stylist? Let MSDTV know.
