This fall, expect some major changes in your daytime programming on CBS. The network had recently announced that their daytime talk show, “The Talk” – has decided to fire not renew contracts for industry vets Leah Remini and Holly Robinson.
Instead, the show is now making room for reality TV (mom)anger, Kris Jenner (from Keeping Up with Kardashians) and comedienne/ announcer (and noted Republican and supporter of President Bush) Sheryl Underwood. -_-
Why the sudden change?
Well, CBS has brought on Jenner to fill in for Sharon Osbourne who is “taking time of to be with her husband Ozzy” and possibly to fill Leah’s role for 2 weeks, while Sheryl is coming on as a “fill-in” with the option to become a permanent co-host (if she can gel with the other cast-mates).
While CBS is still searching for permanent hosts, Sheryl and Kris will join Julie Chen and Sara Gilbert on Sept. 6 for the debut of season 2.

I will NOT be watching! I loved the show as it was. None of the Season 2 cast have any grasp of REAL WORLD lives and I’m not interested in their fake banter. I’d rather watch The View than The Talk. But alas, without The Talk, and Oprah, I guess it’ll be all housework and dinner prep in the afternoon now.
Furthermore, I looked at the CBS fall line up, and there’s nothing worth watching. So except for a show here or there, I’m not watching anything on CBS.

I WILL NOT watch The Talk anymore. Sheryl Underwood is a nightmare! Kris Jenner is ok, but nobody can replace Sharon. CBS just messed up a good thing…

CBS is crazy!!! Why would they let go of Leah & Holly – they were both such great contributors to the show — I like Sara – but she is shy and clearly doesnt feel comfortable in the limelight, Julie is OK but because we know she will always be the star for no other reason than who she married, she is neither here nor there……CBS made a BIG mistake – -what a joke Kris Jenner!!
The ONLY reason I watched was Leah’s one-liners and Sharon’s comebacks. I agree that Sara just seems uncomfortable on camera (although I do like her) and that Julie as moderator is stiff, although she has surprised me. But it was Leah that I relate to most.
And I can’t stand Kris Jenner. Who wants to be inside her head? Seriously? That’s not the kind of woman I want motherly or friendship adivce from. Sorry, Kris, but your life is a controlled, scripted train wreck and I am appalled that you make so much money by being dressed up white trash. If that’s not who you really are, I apologize sincerely. However, that is what I percieve and I am a REAL housewife/working-from-home-mom.

CBS just made a big mistake.
Why mess up a good thing …Holly and Leah are what make the show…they are real people who say exactly whats on there mind and thats what we like …no fake people…I think CBS is going to regret there decision.
Leah and Holly were the best part of The Talk. I will no longer be watching. Maybe the two of them could get a show.
I am 62yr old middle class woman.Have watched CBS faithfully all my life. Started watching “As The World Turns” with my Grandmother in 1955 until it ended in 2010. Started watching “The Talk”. Loved it from its’ inception. Because of the Women that made up the show. My group of 6 girlfriends would have our glasses of wine and cheese plate watching the show in front of the fireplace all winter…glasses of wine and fruit plate in the poolhouse in the summer. We are disappointed, to say the least, that Leah and Holly were not returning. However, we are disgusted and appalled at the way CBS handled the show. So much so that we are starting a campaign to boycott all CBS shows within our families and friends. We stand strong…and we stand firm. CBS owes Leah and Holly better. They owe their base much more. If you want new viewers the 2 people you have added, and possibly Kris Jenner????…this will never cut it.
